Paul S. Peabody is Sr. Vice President, Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Bronson Healthcare Group in Kalamazoo. Peabody is a highly experienced healthcare CIO and has worked extensively with the EPIC electronic health records platform. He specializes in all aspects of healthcare operations, project management, information systems and software development.
The majority of Peabody’s career was served at Beaumont Health System in metro Detroit where he held various leadership positions, including VP & CIO, for more than 30 years. In 1986, during his career at Beaumont; he implemented one of the first bedside based Electronic Health Record systems in the U.S. that connected over 2000 physicians in their homes and offices.
Peabody is active in numerous Health Industry Councils, is a Past-President of the Detroit Chapter of SIM and is a Board Member of Kettering University. Peabody earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Michigan.
