Prior to that, Viren served as the CIO for Specialty Fashion Group in Sydney, Australia, where he architected digital transformation and implemented new generation technologies for a seamless Omni-channel customer experience, awarding him with a nomination for Retail CIO of the year. His tenure also comprises of 11 years with Walmart in multiple leadership capacities, generating multi-million dollar ROI for their retail & wholesale chains in North America, South America, Central America, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, Japan and South Africa. His success included greenfield market entry in India, standardizing M&A Integrations and transformational IT initiatives that reduced the total cost of ownership and talent development in matrix settings. Pre-Walmart he delivered mission-critical solutions via large teams in financial services, banking and ecommerce.
